What this test measures
Three kinds of reasoning that need no language: completing patterns in a grid (matrices), finding the rule in a row of numbers (number series) and recognising a shape after it turns (mental rotation). Together they give a rough estimate of general reasoning ability on the IQ scale.
How it works
- Each part starts with an unscored practice puzzle and its explanation.
- One timer runs for the whole test; it pauses on the instructions.
- You can go back, skip and change answers. Unanswered questions count as wrong, and guessing has no penalty.
- Speed earns no extra points.
- Your progress is saved on your device, so a refresh does not lose it.
